Commandante’s Custom Wolverine Tequila (@yo_commandante)
Very fun! More shots can be seen in the artist’s Flickr set. I love most Tequila customs, likely because of the excellent initial sculpting on the Muttpop production figure. You can see the other custom Tequilas that we’ve blogged here. You can follow Commandante on his Website | Flickr | Twitter Check out our previous posts on Commandante here.
MAp-MAp’s Custom Skonk “An S & T Chomp” (SOLD, @MAp_MAp)
From the artist (via): “There are many creatures on this world. Some are nice, some are mean. Some have gaping mouths, some have big bushy tails. Some are content, some are envious. I’m not going to say who is what between these two, but lets just try and be a little bit better from now on yeah?” So good. This is the first Skonk custom we’ve covered, and after seeing how well this guy turned out I would love to have seen more. Produced by Patch Together, I only can find one Skonk from the figure’s designer, Okkle - and it would be a sin to strip and paint as it’s a custom. Need more MAp-MAp? Sekure D’s Custom 7” Swamp Thing Munny (@SekureD)
Love it! You can see progress shots in this Kidrobot forum thread, which is a fairly brave decision as it was his most sculpted piece to date. You can vote for this piece in Kidrobot’s 2012 Munnyworld Megacontest right now and have until May 31st, 2012. Due to time restrictions, an inclination to pick our favorites, and to support one of our favorite artists - we’ve decided this will be the second of only two 2012 Munnyworld entry that we’ll be posting. Good luck dude! Sekure D on the Internet: Website | Store | Blog | Twitter | Facebook | Flickr Read our interview with Sekure D and check out our previous posts on his work.
Avatar666’s “Capitán América” Custom Celsius (@ELCHAKAL666)
Perfectly timed with the release of The Avengers movie (which we reviewed here), this custom has many intricately sculpted details. You can see WIP shots and other angles of the painted figure in the artist’s Flickr set. You can follow Avatar666 on his Flickr and Twitter Check out our previous posts on Avatar666 here.
