“The ancestral forest of Akukubahi is no more. Ravaged by centuries of war between two clans, the once luxurious Emerald canopy has long left place to a new jungle made of steel and concrete. Result of the race for the ultimate weapon, a new breed of soldiers has been created, engineered from the DNA of legendary heroes. Mekaleon is one of them.”

This is INSANE! The sculpting and painting is next level amazing and almost no matter how much this commission cost, it was too little. You can see more shots of this figure in their Flickr set. We’re a little late on this, but it’s great to announce that Artmymind has sent us two custom “The Night of the Fallen Samurais” Dunnys in an exclusive colorway just for Opportunity LOL to giveaway! They came in perfect condition due to their intelligent packaging and we’re working hard on the review/giveaway to hit the internet fairly soon (one to two weeks). “Timber!” Custom 3” Chuckboy 2Tone Dunny by Hugh Rose

“Timber is a clumsy lumberjack. So clumsy that he has, over the years, accidentally hacked off all but one of his own limbs. Luckily there is lots off wood lying around to make repairs…”

I bet Lfarnc is jealous! This is such a cute custom and Hugh has said that the collector is commissioning a second piece from him, so I’m excited to see what follows.

Custom 2Tone Chuckboy Dunny by Nikejerk: “Tusk Boy”

“This is my 3” custom Chuck Boy Dunny named Tusk Boy. So far almost all of the Chuckboy customs I’ve seen have maintained the given eyes of the sculpt as well as the mecha nature of the design… and I wanted to avoid BOTH of those things. So I cut the eye piece off of another Chuckboy and added it opposite of the existing one and turned them into tusks making it a other worldly exposed bone creature. I hope it fits well into the fantastic Chuckboy collection it is joining.”

Custom 3” 2Tone Chuckboy Dunny by David “RunDMB” Bishop

Given WIP shots of this piece showed up on the artist’s flickr as “Lfarnc chuckboy dunny,” it’s pretty obvious this piece was created for Kidrobot Message Board member Lfarnc, a collector who seems to own nearly every custom 2Tone Chuckboy Dunny created. Take a look through this thread to see many of these customs being added to Lfarnc’s Chuckboy army. Commissioning RunDMB was a great choice, as artist David Bishop did a fantastic job applying his signature style. Hit up the artist’s Flickr set for more shots at different angles.
