“NY artist Mike “NEMO” Mendez continues his longstanding relationship with NY-based toy shop Tenacious Toys with the next iteration of his tiki-themed Hello Kitty custom: Hello Tiki II: Scary Love. This figure is a talisman that guards the holder against unwanted, bad or “scary” love. Hello Tiki II is about 4 inches tall and incorporates a variety of materials, a handmade grass skirt and a sculpted base. The piece is for sale on the Tenacious Toys site for $95 at the following link.” NEMO’s previous Hello Kitty custom has already sold and given the popularity of Tenacious Toys, I assume this too will sell quickly.
